First Course Options

Roasted sweet corn soup with habanero crème fraiche

Mixed greens with chevre, pickled apple, toasted walnuts, crispy leeks and pumpkinseed vinaigrette

Salad of Rushing Waters smoked rainbow trout, celeriac, horseradish and micro kohlrabi with dill oil

Dragsmith Farm’s baby greens salad with Deustch Farm bacon lardons, cornichon pickles and smoked tomato vinaigrette


Second Course Options

Stewed Great Lakes whitefish with wilted spinach, native-harvested wild rice and curried winter squash

Pumpkin risotto with roasted onions, brussels sprouts, sarvecchio and brown butter sauce

Braised WI Meadows beef short ribs with red cabbage, mustard potatoes and red wine reduction

Cider-braised duck with wilted Square Roots Farm kale, roasted root vegetables and garlic cream sauce


Third Course Options

Flourless dark chocolate cake with whiskey caramel and crème Chantilly

McIlquham apple and cheddar beignets with cinnamon cream cheese

Vanilla porter cake with raspberry ice cream

Peanut butter pie with New Glarus Serendipity cranberry compote and crème Chantilly

Let Chef Nathan Berg and The Lakely staff take your entire party on a one-of-a-kind culinary exploration of the best our region has to offer.

The six-course, farm-focused path you’ll follow will be described as you go, and could be different on any given day. To order, the entire table must participate and plan on a 2 to 2.5-hour experience.

Wednesday, Sept. 20th • 6pm • $50/person

The Lakely presents a very special 6-course dinner featuring Square Roots Farm from Fall Creek, WI.

Square Roots is a CSA vegetable farm that provides amazing organic produce to the Chippewa Valley, including many items regularly featured on The Lakely menus.

Farmer/owners Jake Lau and Briana Odegard will be on-hand to talk about their operation as Chef Nathan Berg presents a menu featuring their incredible ingredients right at the height of the fall harvest.

Seating is limited and must be reserved ahead of time. Call The Oxbow Hotel at (715) 839-0601 to reserve your spot.

Homegrown: Restaurants designated as "Homegrown" are locally owned and locally originated establishments. These are restaurants that exist only in the Chippewa Valley, or they started in this community before branching into additional markets. Many franchised restaurants located in the area may be locally-owned as well, but as in most cases they don't originate here, they are not given the "Homegrown" designation. Restaurant Week encourages you to include a "Homegrown" establishment as you enjoy the event's offerings!
